The town of Greenfield is located north central part of Saratoga County. It is bounded on the north by the town of Hadley, on the west by the town of Providence, on the south by the towns of Milton and Saratoga Springs, and on the east by the town of Wilton. The population of Greenfield in 1865 was 2891
