The town of Wilton is located northeast of the center of Saratoga County. It is bounded on the north by the town of Moreau, on the west by the town of Greenfield, on the south by the towns of Saratoga Springs and Saratoga, and on the east by the town of Northumberland. The population of Wilton in 1865 was 1362.
