Joan married Sir William Bowes, son of Sir Robert Bowes (-1421) & Joan Conyers (-7 Nov 1438). Born ca 1379. William died on 11 Oct 1465.
William Bowes of Streatlam was engaged for twenty years in the wars in France, and was knighted at the battle of Verneuil in 1424. He was subsequently Warden of the Middle Marches and Governor of Berwick.

ca 1470 Robert second married Elizabeth Gray. Born ca 1448. Elizabeth died on 18 Jul 1472.
