336. Matthew Barstow. Born on 29 Jun 1565 in Shelf, North Halifax, Yorshire, Eng.

Four of Matthew’s children—Michael, William, George, and John—came from Yorkshire to New England in 1635. Michael had no known children, but the other three left descendants.13

It is unclear just who the father of the four sons was. Was the father Matthew Barstow of Shelf, or Michael Barstow of Northowram. See NYGBR 121:98.12
