920. Nathaniel Bonnell. Born say 1640. Nathaniel died in 1711 in Elizabethtown, NJ.

    “Nathaniel Bunnell, son of William and Ann (Wilmot) Bunnell, removed from New Haven, Connec ticut, to Elizabeth, New Jersey. His descendants spell the name Bonnell. Among the original ‘Associates’ of Elizabeth in 1665, is Nathanael Bonnel, and the same yar Nathaniel Bunnell took there the oath of allegiance. He had, in Elizabeth, a house lot of six acres, bounded by lands of Thomas Price, Isaac Whitehead, Sr., and by a highway. He had also an allotment of one hundred and twenty acres ‘lying upon the South Branch of Elizabethtown Creek, and y^e plaine which said above mentioned Creek passeth through’; also, ‘12 acres of meadow lying in the great meadows upon JOhn Woodruffe’s Creek.’ Nathanaiel Bonnel was one of the jury in the first trial ever held in elizabeth, in May, 1671. Nathaniel ‘bunniell’ again took the otha of allegiance, September 11, l1673. His land having been surveyed, Nathaniel Bonnel obtained his patent for one hundred and eighty acres, April 10, 1676. Nathaniel Bunnell subscribed £1 10 s., and Nathanaiel Bunnell, Jr., 6s. towards the support of Rev. John Harriman. Land which had been Nathaniel Bonnell’s, ‘on the South Branch in Elizabeth Town bounds,’ was in the possession of his son Isaac until the latter’s death in January, 1712. Nathaniel Bunnell was one of the executors of the estate of his father-in-law, Isaac Whitehead, early in 1691.”

On 3 Jan 1664/5 Nathaniel married Susanna Whitehead, daughter of Isaac Whitehead (ca 1624-31 Jan 1690/1) & Mary [Whitehead], in New Haven, CT. Born on 5 Aug 1650 in New Haven, CT.74 Susanna died in Springfield, NJ, on 12 Feb 1733; she was 82.

921. Lydia Bunnell. Born say 1642 in New Haven, CT. Lydia died on 1 Apr 1708 in Derby, CT.132

On 10 Apr 1661 Lydia married Francis French, son of Capt. William French (ca 1603-20 Nov 1681) & Elizabeth Godfrey (ca 1605-31 Mar 1668), in Milford, CT.76 Born ca 1625 in England. Francis died on 14 Feb 1690/1 in Derby, CT.132

922. Benjamin Bunnell. Born say 1642 in New Haven, CT. Benjamin was baptized in First Congregational Society, New Haven, in 1690.30 He was baptized as an adult. Benjamin died ca 1696 in New Haven, CT.30

Benjamin first married Rebecca Mallory (17964) , daughter of Peter Mallory (ca 1627-between 30 Aug 1697 and 24 Nov 1701) & Mary Preston (7004) (ca 1629-Dec 1690). Born on 18 Mar 1649[/50] in New Haven, CT.74 Rebecca died in New Haven, CT, on 12 Mar 1691; she was 40.74

Elizabeth first married John Sperry, second Benjamin Bunnell, and third Edmund Dorman.

923. Mary Bunnell. Born on 4 May 1650 in New Haven, CT.74 Mary died in Wallingford, CT, on 20 Jul 1724; she was 74.31

On 31 Oct 1671 when Mary was 21, she married Eleazer Peck, son of Henry Peck (-1651) & Joan [Peck], in New Haven, CT.74 Born ca 1643 in New Haven, CT. Eleazer was baptized in First Congregational Society, New Haven, on 12 Mar 1643.30 Eleazer died in 1735/6 in Wallingford, CT.
