Mary married a Mr Root after Thomas died.

On 1 Nov 1620 Mary married Thomas Ruggles (2024) , son of Thomas Ruggles (571) (ca 1559-) & Margery Dandridge (ca 1562-), in Nazeing, Essex, Eng. Born in 1584 in Sudbury, Suffolk, Eng. Thomas died in Nov 1644 in Roxbury, MA.2 Thomas died of consumption. Buried on 16 Nov 1644 in Roxbury, MA.43

Thomas came in 1637 with Mary and children Sarah and Samuel, and settled in Roxbury. Thomas was freeman 22 May 1639.2

1085. Philip Curtis. Born ca 1591 in Nazeing, Essex. Philip was baptized in Nazeing, Essex, in Sep 1591.

1086. William Curtis. Born ca 1592 in Nazeing, Essex, Eng. William was baptized in Nazeing, Essex, on 12 Nov 1592.5 William died on 8 Dec 1672 in Roxbury, MA.43 Occupation: farmer.

William was in Roxbury in 1632. He came in the Lion, arriving at Boston 16 Sep 1632 with wife Sarah and children Thomas, Mary, John, and Philip. He was freeman 4 Mar 1633 and the first named in the list of that day. At Roxbury he had children Hannah, Elizabeth, and Issac. His elsest son William, who came in 1731, perhaps with Eliot in the Lion, was ‘a hopefus scholar, but God took him in 1634,’ says the church record.2

On 3 Dec 1615 William first married Mary Rawlyns in St Margaret Moses, London.5 Mary died ca 1618/9 in Nazeing, Essex.
