On 1 Dec 1653 when Abigail was 16, she married Thomas Parke, son of Richard Parke (ca 1602-1665) & Margery Crane (ca 1595-ca 1650), in Cambridge, MA.61 Born ca 1628 in England. Thomas died on 11 Aug 1689 in Newton, MA. Occupation: farmer.

1126. Mary Dix. Born on 2 May 1639 in Watertown, MA.11 Mary died in Marlboro, MA, on 18 Jun 1675; she was 36.

On 5 Feb 1663 when Mary was 23, she first married Abraham Brown, son of Abraham Brown (ca 1588-1650) & Lydia [Brown], in Watertown, MA.11 Born on 6 Mar 1639/40 in Watertown, MA. Abraham died bef 28 Sep 1667 (inv.) in Watertown, MA.

Abraham purchased land in Groton, where he proposed to settle near his sister Lydia. But, Mary Dix, to whom he was engaged to be married, was unwilling to go to Groton, and she ‘desired Thomas Parks to go to Ipswich to treat with Mrs. Hodges to see what she would do for her son Abraham Browne upon his marriage.’ He went, and ‘Mrs. Hodges gave him (her son Abraham) full power to settle upon her land in Watertown,’ etc.11

In Aug or Sep 1668 Mary second married Samuel Rice, son of Edmund Rice (ca 1594-3 May 1663) & Thomasine Frost (ca 1600-13 Jun 1654).11 Born ca Nov 1634 in Berkhamstead, Hertfordshire. Samuel was baptized in Berkhamstead, Hertfordshire, on 6 Mar 1634. Samuel died on 24 Feb 1685 in Marlboro, MA.

1127. John Dix. Born on 4 Sep 1640 in Watertown, MA.11 John died in Watertown, MA, on 7 Nov 1714; he was 74.11

Upon the death of his father, John chose John Wincoll for his guardian.11

On 7 Jan 1671 when John was 30, he married Elizabeth Barnard (698) , daughter of John Barnard (335) (ca 1607-Jun 1646) & Phebe Whiting (18705) (ca 1606-1 Aug 1685), in Watertown, MA.11 Born on 1 Jan 1640/1 in Watertown, MA. Elizabeth died aft 1714.

1128. Rebecca Dix. Born on 28 Feb 1641/2 in Watertown, MA.11

On 18 Feb 1667/8 when Rebecca was 25, she married Thomas Flagg (1209) , son of Thomas Flagg (429) (ca 1617-6 Feb 1697/8) & Mary [Flagg] (say 1620-bet 30 Dec 1702 and 21 Apr 1703), in Watertown, MA.11 Born on 28 Apr 1646 in Watertown, MA.11 Thomas died ca 1719 in Weston, MA.

Thomas was the guardian of Lydia, daughter of Abraham Browne Jr., and he lived some time on the land belonging to the estate of Abraham Browne Sr., which had been occupied by Abraham Jr., after his marriage.11
