1561. Anne James. Born ca 1629.75 Anne died bef 1687. (Anne was not mentioned in her husband’s will).

On 25 Apr 1649 Anne married John "young son" Turner (2195) , son of Humphrey Turner (604) (ca 1595-1672/3) & Lydia Gamer (ca May 1602-1669/70), in Scituate, MA.116 Born ca 1624 in Scituate, MA.5 John "young son" died bef 8 Jun 1687 in Scituate, MA.75

"Young son John (so named probably at request of a godfather) lived north-east of Hick's swamp, (near now [1831] Leonard Clap's)."6

“Although an active man he was not physically strong, and was freed from military duty or training. He was active in town affairs on various committees with his elder brogher, John, Sr.; ws one of the local Council of War, and a colonial collector of the excise on ‘tarr, borads and oysters.’ He lived northeast of Hick’s Swamp, on the Country Way, near the old Clap mansion-house at Greenbush.”7

John’s will, dated 25 Oct 1686, proved 8 Jun 1687, mentions sons Japheth and Israel (executors), Jacob, David, and Philip, and daughters Miriam Turner, Anne Green, and Sarah Turner. Wit: Thomas Turner, Thomas Plamer Sr, and Thomas Palmer Jr.75

1562. Francis James. Born ca 1632 in England.75 Francis died on 29 Nov 1684 in Hingham, MA.75 Occupation: husbandman.

Francis resided at Hingham Centre.33

bef 1657 Francis married Elizabeth Hyland (5611) , daughter of Thomas Hyland (1533) (ca 1604-1683) & Deborah [Hyland]. Born ca 1632 in England. Elizabeth was baptized in Tenterden, Kent, Eng., on 23 Sep 1632. Elizabeth died aft 1688.75

1563. Jane James. Born ca 1634.75 Jane died ca 1662/3.

On 27 Dec 1654 Jane married John Adams, son of John Adams (-1633) & Ellen Newton (ca 1598-Dec 1681), in Marshfield, MA.20 “John Adams and Jane James was maried .27. december 1654”. Born aft 22 May 1627 in Plymouth, MA.5 Occupation: yeoman. Religion: Quaker.

John went to sea for two years after Jane’s death, then removed to Flushing, Long Island, and in 1691 removed to New Jersey.75

On 28 Jan 1656 Sarah married Robert Parker in Barnstable, MA.3 Robert died ca 1685. Occupation: yeoman.
