1869. Anthony Peirce. Born on 28 Apr 1611 in Norwich, Norfolk. Anthony died in Watertown, MA, on 9 May 1678; he was 67.11
Anthony, of Watertown, was admitted freeman 3 Sep 1634. He was the ancestor of all or nearly all othe families bearing the name afterwards in Watertosn, Waltham, Weston, Lincoln, and Lexington. His homestall was on the north side of the road from Cambridge, immediately west of the homestall of John Stowers, which was afterwards the parsonage, occupied by Rev. Angier. It was afterwards the residence of his sons Joseph and Benjamin.11

Anthony second married Anne [Peirce]. Anne died on 20 Jan 1682/3 in Watertown, MA.11

1870. Esther Peirce. Born on 6 Aug 1612 in Norwich, Norfolk. Esther died in Watertown, MA, on 4 May 1694; she was 81.
In 1636 Esther married Joseph Morse.39 Born ca 1610 in England. Joseph died on 4 Mar 1690/1 in Watertown, MA.

1871. Mary Peirce. Born ca 1613 in Norwich, Norfolk. Mary died on 26 Jan 1704 in Gloucester, MA.
Mary married Clement Coldham, son of Thomas Coldham (ca 1602-8 Apr 1675). Born ca 1625 in England.5 Clement died on 18 Dec 1703 in Gloucester, MA.2
Clement, of Lynn, removed to Gloucester.2

John was taxed in Woburn, in the rate for the country in 1645, and in the town rate, 1646.34
John married Elizabeth [Peirce].

1873. Barbara Peirce. Born ca 1619 in Norwich, Norfolk.
Barbre may have died on the passage over as nothing further is known of her.39
1874. Robert Peirce. Born on 21 Dec 1621 in Norwich, Norfolk. Robert died in Woburn, MA, on 10 Sep 1706; he was 84.11
Robert was of Watertown in 1646, removed to Woburn, freeman 1650.2
bef 16 oct 1646 Robert married Mary Knight, daughter of John Knight (ca Jan 1595-22 May 1674) & Mary Pickering.39 Born in Romsey, Hampshire. Mary died on 18 Mar 1701 in Woburn, MA.34
(This Mary Knight who married Robert Pierce is not the same Mary Knight who married either John Osborne or John Cole. That was apparently Mary Knight, dau. of Walter & Elizabeth Knight.)

1875. Elizabeth Peirce. Born on 11 Apr 1624 in Norwich, Norfolk. Elizabeth died bef 1665 in Watertown, MA.
“About the year 1655-6, [John’s] wife became violently insane, which fact doubtless accounts for the apprenticing of his children as follows:- John Jr. and Marie or marie (aged 5 years) on Jan. 3, 1656, to John Pierce Sr; Sarah (aged 2 years) on Dec. 9, 1656, to Richard Gale; on Aug. 3 1658, he apprenticed two other children (aged 3 years and 6 months respectively).”227
In 1643 Elizabeth married John Ball, son of John Ball (ca 1585-1 Nov 1655) & Joanna King.39 Born ca 1620 in England.227 John died on 20 Feb 1676 in Lancaster, MA.227 Occupation: tailor.
John accompanied his father to New England. On 21 Oct 1665 John sold his farm in Watertown and moved to Lancaster where he was one of the three earliest settlers. In the attack upon the town by Indians 20 Feb 1676 he, his wife, and son Joseph were slain, and two of his children taken into captivity.227

1876. Judith Peirce. Born on 8 Feb 1627. Judith died bef 1650.
Francis and Judith had no children.77
On 30 Jan 1644/5 when Judith was 17, she married Francis Wyman (7163) , son of Francis Wyman (ca 1594-19 Apr 1658) & Elizabeth Richardson (1994) (ca 1593-22 Jun 1630), in Woburn, MA.11 Born ca 1619 in Westmill, Hertfordshire. Francis was baptized in Westmill, Hertfordshire, on 24 Feb 1619/20.77 Francis died on 30 Nov 1699 in Woburn, MA.34 Buried in First Burial Ground of Woburn.149 “Here lyes ye body of Francis Wyman, aged about 82 years, died November 28th, 1699”. Occupation: tanner, farmer.
Francis built his house about 1666 on the outskirts of Woburn, now part of Burlington, still standing in the 20th century.77
Epitaph: “Memento Mori-Fugit Hora.”149
