Samuel married Mary Doughty (7882) , daughter of James Doughty (ca 1624-) & Lydia Turner (2197) (ca 1630-). Born on 23 Jun 1650 in Scituate, MA.7 Mary died in 1680/83.7
Mary, first married Samuel Russell, second Cornelius Briggs. Samuel was one of Cornelius’s fellow soldiers who had fallen the year before Cornelius married Samuel’s widow Mary.2
Mary inherited the Russell house at Greenbush and continuted to reside in it after her marriage to Cornelius.7
