On 11 Oct 1613 Elizabeth married William Preston (1944) , son of Adam Preston (558) (ca 1564-8 Nov 1593) & Isabel Braithwait, in Chesham, Bucks.30 Born ca 1590 in Giggleswick, Yorkshire. William was baptized in Giggleswick, Yorkshire, on 23 Jan 1590/1.30 William died in 1647 in New Haven, CT.30
William came in 1635 on the Truelove, the latest of seventeen ships from London to Boston that year, aged 44, with wife Mary, 34, and four chidren Elizabeth 11, Sarah 8, Mary 6, and John 3. He settled in Dorchester, and removed to New Haven in season to be among first subscribers of the compact, 1639. He probably died not long after date of his will, 9 Jul 1647. He owned an estate in Giggleswick, Yorkshire, England, in the most western part of the West Riding.2

Christopher was in Dorchester by 1630. He desired to be admitted as a freeman 19 Oct1630, but did not take the oath. He removed to Boston in 1646, and was one of the founders of the second church there 5 Jun 1650, chosen deacon on 6 Nov 1670.2

Edward was 24 when he came to New England in the Elizabeth and Ann from London, and he settled at Salem. He was admitted freeman 2 Nov 1637. In June of that year his wife
Margaret was charged for adultery with more than one, and banished the next year. (See Col. Rec. I. 198, and Winthrop II. 349.) He was of Rehoboth in 1644.2
