2056. William Sheldon. Born ca 1622 in Bakewell, Derbyshire. William was baptized in Bakewell, Derbyshire, on 5 Feb 1622. William died on 2 Dec 1691 in Marblehead, MA.

WILLIAM, Scarborough, s. of Godfrey, had been of Saco 1664, m. Rebecca Scarlet, was driv. away by the Ind. war 1675, and liv. at Salem, where his s. Nathaniel d. 30 Nov. that yr. aged 10. He went back to S. aft. that war, and in 1690 was again driv. off by the same evil. One Susanna S. a girl of 18 yrs. perhaps d. of this man, was terrib. afflict. in the witchcr. times, 1692, if one fourth of what she sw. was true.2

William married Rebecca Scarlett. Rebecca died on 25 Jul 1720 in Salem, MA.

2058. John Sheldon. Born on 8 May 1628 in Bakewell, Derbyshire, England. John died in Billerica, MA, on 24 May 1690; he was 62.34

On 1 Feb 1658/9 when John was 30, he married Mary Converse, daughter of Dea. Edward Converse (ca 1588/9-10 Aug 1663) & Sarah Parker (-14 Jan 1662), in Billerica, MA.5 Born ca 1625 in Essex, England.5

In 1640 Anne married Samuel Walker in Charlestown, MA. Born ca 1617 in England. Samuel died on 6 Nov 1684 in Woburn, MA.35
