2145. Peter Tallman. Born ca 1623 in Hamburg, Germany.71 Peter died on 1 Apr 1708 in Portsmouth, RI.

Peter came from Hamburg, Germany, of a burgher family which probably originated in Schleswig-Holstein. He was born about 1623, probably the son of Heinrigh and Anna Taelmon of Hamburg, and he was made a burgher of that city 14 Aug 1646. Soon after he emigrated to Barbados where he married 2 Jan 1649 in Christ Church Parish, Anne, daughter of Philip and Anne Hill of that parish.71

Peter is in the list of freemen at Newport 1655, and among the proprietors of Guilford 1685.2

Peter was general solicitor of RI in 1661.91

On 2 Jan 1649 Peter first married Anne Hill (1448) , daughter of Philip Hill (469) & Anne [Hill], in Church Christ, Barbados.57 Born ca 1628/1632. Anne died bef 1688 in Portsmouth, RI. They were divorced in May 1665 in Portsmouth, RI.

Joan, of Taunton.57 As Joan was the mother of children born in the early 1680s, she was probably born in the 1640s, or late 1630s at the earliest.
