2498. Mary Hatch. Born ca Oct 1652 in Scituate, MA. Mary was baptized in the Second Church of Scituate, on 3 Oct 1652.116 Mary died on 12 Jan 1693 in Stonington, CT.

On 3 Sep 1668 Mary married Ezekiel Main, son of John Main & Elizabeth Laurie, in Stonington, CT. Born ca 1641 in Boston, MA. Ezekiel died on 19 Jun 1714 in Stonington, CT.

Ezekiah is the first Main family member in Stonington records. He came to Stonington in 1670 and 1672, receiving land grants and again in 1680 when he recieved another land grant which extended his holdings to North Stonington. He was admitted to the First Church of Stonington September 3, 1676.

2499. Lydia Hatch. Born on 28 Apr 1653 in Scituate, MA.116,3 Lydia died in Scituate, MA, on 2 May 1653; she was <1.116,3

2500. Lydia Hatch. Born on 7 Jan 1654/5 in Scituate, MA.116 At the age of 1, Lydia was baptized in the Second Church of Scituate, on 6 Jul 1656.116 Lydia died aft 1702.251

On 16 Jan 1678 when Lydia was 23, she married John Barstow (2613) , son of William Barstow (701) (ca 1612-1 Jan 1668/9) & Anna Hubbard (5390) (ca 1614-aft 23 Jun 1674), in Scituate, MA.116 Born ca 1640 in Dedham, MA. John died aft 1702.251

“John was a householder in Scituate 1678. A considerable tract of land was laid out to him west of the south Meetinghouse common, extending to Jordan lane. His house was fifty rods south of the present [1831] road, and was afterward the house of John Ruggles, on the land now owned by Pickles Cushing.”6
