Lydia “my now Married Wife” brought him some estate at marriage, referring to the marriage Covenant; to chiildren of my son Joseph Damon, decesed, land in Uxbridge; to three grandsons, Jabez, Joseph and Aaron Damon, sons of my son Jabez Damon of Reading, deceased, all my housing and lands in Reading; their own mother, the widow of Jabez; my daughters Mary wife of Jonathan Eaton, Elizabeth wife of William Bancroft, Mehitabel wife of David Child, Sarah wife of Jonathan Temple, and Susanna wife of Phinehas Lovejoy, sums to be paid by the grandsons; to granddaughters Hannah wife of John Temple and "Mathar" wife of Daniel Gould, children of my daughter Hannah deceased; my daughter-in-law Lucy Damon (widow of son Jabez deceased) and grandson Jabez (son of Jabez) to be Executors.139
