“Born at Norwalk, 6 Feb. 1679/80, d. there 26 Oct. 1752; m. 27 Dec. 1705, Sarah Hanford, dau. of Rev. Thomas.
“Will 26 Aug. 1743, proved 6 Feb. 1753; wife; sons Nathan, Daniel, David, Exec’rs; daus. Lydia, Sarah Betts, Mary Trowbridge; legacy to Nehemiah Mead. On 10 Jan. 1754, Daniel Betts, Jr. (and wife Sarah) of Norwalk, and John Trowbridge (and wife Mary) of Danbury, and Lydia Comstock of Norwalk, receipted to Nathan, Daniel, and David Comstock, Exec’rs of will of father Capt. Samuel.”

Dinah Hanford; gr. sons Moses son of Samuel Hanford, and Moses Comstock EelIs; son Abijah and son-in-Iaw Samuel Hanford, Exec’rs; negro man and woman to remain with my wife, and at her death to choose which of my children they will live with. Distribution ordered 3 Sept. 1766 to eldest son Abijah, Moses, Abigail wife of John EelIs, Hannah wife of Phineas Hanford, heirs oí Dinah wife of Samuel Haníord, Sarah Comstock and Phebe Comstock.”
On 23 Feb 1709/10 when Moses was 24, he married Abigail Brinsmade (10904) , daughter of Daniel Brinsmade (3393) (ca 1645-bef before 7 Oct 1702 (inventory)) & Sarah Kellogg (Feb 1659/60-), in Norwalk, CT.16 Born ca 1691 in Norwalk, CT.16 Abigail died on 16 Nov 1766 in Norwalk, CT.16
