To son Jabez the new dwelling-house on the side of the highway at South Hingham;’ mentions a black oak-tree ‘standing ont he boundary line between Ephraim's homestead and mine;’ bequeaths also ‘to sons Edward and Theophilus, and to daughters Mary Slaughter [Slader], Sarah Loring, Leah Wilder, and Kezia Wilder, each £100.’”33

John was a husbandman, living in Marshfield, Mass. he bought land in Lebanon, Ct. 1726-29-35 but whether he moved there records do not state.120
