Will: Note: The will of Samuel Story, of Norwich, New London, CT,is recordedon Probate Records of New London, CT, Volume C, page 88. It isdated 9/17/1726 and the witnesses appearing, etc., Dec. 1, 1726.In his will he mentions his wife Mary; his sons John Story, Samuel Story, Stephen Story and his son Ephraim's children;daughters Elizabeth Hidden, Mary Andrus, Dorothy Day, HannahNolten, Anna Proctor, Margaret Choat; son-in-law John Choat and daughter-in-law Elizabeth Choat.
To his son Stephen Story he left, "my woodlot in Tobasco, Number319, he paying to his father, Emerson, what is due him from me."
To his son Solomon Story he left, "15 acres that I reserved inmy deed to my son John, he paying 20 shillings yearly to mypresent wife during her widowhood."
The inventory on his estate was taken on 9/15/1726 and included"a wood lot in Ipswich". The date of the inventory placesSamuel Story's between 9/17 and 8/25,1726.
ca 1679 Samuel first married Elizabeth Burnham. Born ca 1660 in Ipswich, MA. Elizabeth died bef 1716.
On 16 Jul 1716 Samuel second married Mary Williams, daughter of Capt. Stephen Williams (8 Nov 1640-15 Feb 1719/20) & Sarah Wise (19 Dec 1647-bef 30 Aug 1728), in Ipswich, MA. Born on 20 Dec 1669 in Roxbury, MA.43 Mary died aft 17 Sep 1726. They were divorced.
4534. Hannah Story. Born on 19 Aug 1662 in Ipswich, MA.
On 3 Dec 1683 when Hannah was 21, she married Richard Swan, son of Robert Swan (ca 1625-11 Feb 1697/8) & Elizabeth Acy (ca 1632-11 Aug 1689), in Rowley, MA. Born on 24 Feb 1660 in Haverhill, MA. Richard died in 1690 in Canada.
Richard died in service in the Canada Expedition.

ca 1688 Susannah second married Cornelius Brown (10213) , son of Cornelius Brown (3031) (ca 1637-ca 1701) & Sarah Lamson (ca 1645-4 Oct 1683). Born on 3 Jun 1667 in Reading, MA.138 Cornelius died in Ipswich, MA, on 4 Jul 1743; he was 76.
