Jacob moved to Topsfield by 1686, then to Lebanon, CT, in 1718.60

On 12 Sep 1688 when Jacob was 26, he first married Sarah Wood, daughter of Isaiah Wood (ca 1627-aft 7 Dec 1710) & Mercy Thomson (ca 1630-ca 1683/4), in Topsfield, MA.60 Born on 26 Dec 1665 in Ipswich, MA.313 Sarah died in Ipswich, MA, on 27 Sep 1697; she was 31.313

Joseph was town treasurer and selectman in 1715.
