John Jackson of the same, had Thomas, b. 29 Apr. 1666, d. young; Elizabeth 30 Sept. 1668; Caleb; Margaret, 1 Mar. 1672; Hannah, 1 Apr. 1674; Mary; Esther, 1 Apr. 1678; Sarah, 5 Jan. 1681; and Thomas, again, 29 Apr. 1686; was freem. 1685, capt. in 1690, when, march. to relieve Casco, in hard fight, 6 July, with Ind. he was slain, near Wheelwright's pond, in Lee, N. H. In the Magnalia, VII. 75, may be read an acco. of this action, embellish. as usual, in style, but it is silent a. the d. of his s. John at the same battle, and we otherwise hear of no such s. I reject. the tradit. Forty-three yrs. later, a gr. of ld. in Lunenburg, was extorted for these serv. from the tardy gratitude of the Province.2

ca 1668 Hannah first married Elijah Kenrick, son of John Kenrick (ca 1606-29 Aug 1686) & Anna Smith (-15 Nov 1656). Born on 15 Nov 1643 in Boston, MA. Elijah died in Newton, MA, on 24 Dec 1680; he was 37.

On 7 Apr 1682 when Hannah was 35, she second married John Hyde, son of Jonathan Hyde (ca 1626-5 Oct 1711) & Mary French (ca 1633-27 May 1672), in Newton, MA. Born on 6 Apr 1656 in Cambridge, MA. John died in Newton, MA, on 22 Sep 1738; he was 82.

In Dec 1673 Abigail married Elder Daniel Preston (17952) , son of Dea. Daniel Preston (7001) (ca 1621/2-10 or 12 Nov 1707) & Mary [Preston] (-5 Oct 1695). Born on 7 Oct 1649 in Dorchester, MA.2 Daniel died in Dorchester, MA, on 13 Mar 1726; he was 76.2

Daniel resided in Dorchester where he was freeman 1690 and ruling Elder of the church.2

ca 1684 Deliverance married Joseph Wilson (3726) , son of Nathaniel Wilson (ca 1620-17 Sep 1692) & Hannah Craft (1040) (ca 1628-17 Aug 1692). Born on 31 Jan 1655/6 in Roxbury, MA.161 At the age of <1, Joseph was baptized in Roxbury, MA, on 17 Feb 1655/6.161 Joseph died ca 1710. Occupation: wheelwright.

Joseph bought six acres of land in Newton in 1678 of Richard Park’s heirs and built his house near the West Roxbury line.161
