6013. Capt. Thomas Lincoln. Born ca 1638. Thomas was baptized in Hingham, MA, on 6 May 1638.33 Thomas died on 28 Nov 1708 in Hingham, MA.33 Occupation: carpenter.

Thomas was constable in Hingham 1671; selectmen 1684, 1688, and 1691; and was commissioned ensign 1683, afterwards lieutenant, and captain. He resided on Fort Hill, near West St.33

On 18 Feb 1662/3 Thomas first married Mary Chubbuck (26900) , daughter of Thomas Chubbuck (ca 1606-9 Dec 1676) & Alice Hobart (14965) (ca 1606/7-20 Feb 1674/5), in Hingham, MA.33 Born ca 1642 in Hingham, MA. Mary was baptized in Hingham, MA, on 13 Oct 1642.12 Mary died on 12 Jun 1690 in Hingham, MA.33

    ii. Mercy Lincoln, b. 6 Jun 1686, prob. d. young; and

On 12 Nov 1690 Thomas second married Lydia Hobart (11160) , daughter of Rev. Peter Hobart (14963) (ca 1604-20 Jan 1679) & Rebecca Peck (3477) (25 May 1620-9 Sep 1693), in Hingham, MA.33 Born on 7 Jan 1658/9 in Hingham, MA.33 Lydia died in Hingham, MA, on 18 Oct 1732; she was 73.33

6014. Joseph Lincoln. Born ca 1640. Joseph was baptized in Hingham, MA, on 20 Nov 1640.33 Joseph died on 18 Mar 1715/6 in Hingham, MA.33

Joseph was a freeman 1670. He resided on the paternal homestead, which he inherited by will, North, near Beal St. His will was dated 5 Mar 1715.33

On 14 Jun 1682 Joseph first married Prudence Ford, daughter of Andrew Ford (-4 Mar 1692/3) & Eleanor Lovell (ca 1629-bef 25 Feb 1692/3).33 Born on 2 Dec 1663 in Weymouth, MA.33,87 Prudence died in Hingham, MA, on 26 Nov 1695; she was 31.33

On 24 or 27 Feb 1695/6 Joseph second married Sarah King (5892) , daughter of Eld. Thomas King (1604) (ca 1613-24 Sep 1691) & Sarah Tinker (2173) (ca 1619-6 Jun 1652), in Hingham, MA.33 Born on 24 May 1650 in Scituate, MA.116,3 At the age of <1, Sarah was baptized on 26 May 1650.106 Sarah died in Hingham, MA, on 20 Oct 1716; she was 66.33

In the Bisbee Family,18 and other sources, Sarah is said to have been married to Elisha Bisbee (Hopestill’s brother), rather than Hopestill Bisbee. Sarah’s father, Thomas, bequeathed in 1691 “to my daughter, Sarah Bisbey, the use and improvement of three acres of marsh land, up the river in Marshfield next to the ‘Gravely Beach’ there and so by upland side, during her natuaral live and the life of her husband.” At that time Elisha Bisbee was married to Mary Jacob, so Sarah King could not have been married to Elisha, but could have been married to Hopestill Bisbee.

6015. Benjamin Lincoln. Born ca 1643. Benjamin was baptized in Hingham, MA, on 7 May 1643.33 Benjamin died on 27 Sep 1700 in Grand Rapids, Kent Co., MI.33 Occupation: farmer & maltster.

Benjamin was selectman 1693. He resided on North, corner of Lincoln St.33

On 6 Feb 1666/7 Benjamin married Sarah Fearing, daughter of John Fearing (-14 May 1665) & Margaret [Fearing] (-22 Dec 1690), in Hingham, MA.33 Born ca 1649. Sarah was baptized in Hingham, MA, on 29 Jul 1649.33 Sarah died on 26 Nov 1716 in Hingham, MA.33

Children of Benjamin and Sarah, born in Hingham: John 1668, Margaret 1693, Benjamin 1672, Thomas 1674, Jeremiah 1682-1717, Jonathan 1684, and Sarah 1687-1687.33

On 13 Jun 1678 when Deborah was 32, she married Samuel Thaxter, son of Thomas Thaxter (-4 Feb 1653/4) & Elizabeth [Thaxter] (-17 Jul 1660), in Hingham, MA.33 Born on 19 May 1641 in Hingham, MA.33 Samuel died in Hingham, MA, on 27 May 1725; he was 84.33 Occupation: cordwainer, wheelwright.

Samuel, freeman 1678.2 Samuel was constable 1671 and resided on the paternal homestead, Main St.33
