John was a freeholder of Scituate, 1666, lived in ‘the Two Mile’; also had a considerable tract of land on the west side of North river, near Hugh’s Cross and Cornet’s Pond.152

On 30 Apr 1703 when John was 34, he married Hannah Turner (7903) , daughter of Daniel Turner (2201) (ca 1641-ca 1699) & Hannah Randall (3413) (Mar 1644-23 Aug 1714), in Scituate, MA.85 “John magoone junr and Hannah Turner were marryed ye 30: Aprel 1702”. Born on 14 Aug 1668 in Scituate, MA.116 Hannah died bef Sep 1712.
