6452. Joseph Nash. Born on 8 Jun 1674 in Weymouth, MA.87 Joseph died in Scituate, MA, on 23 May 1732; he was 57.116 Buried in First Parish Cem., Scituate Harbor. Occupation: weaver. Religion: member of the Second Church of Scituate 3 Aug 1718.88

Joseph settled in Scituate, at Stoney cove brook, (afterward the residence of Dr. Isaac Otis, and of his son, Dr. James Otis).6

On 1 Jan 1700 when Joseph was 25, he married Hannah Curtis (3016) , daughter of John Curtis (1066) (9 Dec 1653-) & Miriam Brooks (828) (ca Jun 1652-), in Scituate, MA.85 Born on 28 May 1681 in Scituate, MA.116 At the age of 1, Hannah was baptized in the Second Church of Scituate, on 9 Jul 1682.116 Religion: member of the Second Church of Scituate 9 Sep 1720.88

6453. Elizabeth Nash.

Elizabeth, called in a deed (Suffolk Deeds, 24:47) a daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth.87

ca 1700 Elizabeth married Philip Turner (5740) , son of John "young son" Turner (2195) (ca 1624-bef 8 Jun 1687) & Anne James (1561) (ca 1629-bef 1687).7 Born on 18 Aug 1673 in Scituate, MA.116 At the age of 1, Philip was baptized in the Second Church of Scituate, on 15 Aug 1675.116 Philip died aft 6 May 1735.75

Philip and Elizabeth resided east of Hoop Pole Hill in the South Parish, where he owned an extensive tract between Joseph Henchman’s on the east and Deacon Stephen Clap’s on the northerly side of the main road around Henchman’s Corner, west of Norwell Village.7
