John, eldest son of Anthony. John’s will was dated 21 Oct 1682 and proved 7 Nov 1682. In it, he gave all his estate, inherited from his father or grandfather, to his wife Ruth “for to bring up my children.” Suff. Prob. vi., p. 389.11

On 15 Apr 1656 John married Ruth Bishop, daughter of Nathaniel Bishop (-4 Jun 1687) & Alice Mattocks (-ca 1674), in Boston, MA. Born on 14 Apr 1639 in Boston, MA.

ca 1657 Mary married Ralph Reed (5817) , son of William Reed (ca 1601-) & Mabel Kendall (1583) (ca 1606-5 Jun 1690). Born ca 1630 in Hertfordshire, England. Ralph died on 4 Jan 1712 in Woburn, MA.35

Ralph came to New England with his father when he was five.2
