Feitje, or Sophia, was Michael’s second wife. Michael and Feitje lived at Coxsackie on land acquired from Pieter Bronck.

Fitje was a witness at the 1708 baptism of her neice Jannitje, daughter of Jan Jurrigsen Van Husum.

In 1689 Feitje married Michael Collier, son of Capt. Jochem Collier (ca 1617-bef 18 Aug 1658) & Magdalena Waele. Born ca Jun 1650 in New Amsterdam. Michael was baptized in New Amsterdam Reformed Church, on 5 Jun 1650. Michiel & Dorothe-twins, children of Jochem Kier, witnesses Dirck de Noorman & his wife Chrystyn, Pieter Andrieszen, Daniel Sergiant, Elisabeth Cregiers, & Claertie Ebels. Michael died ca 1725/1733 in Kinderhook, Columbia Co., NY.

“Kasper Van Hoosem” was a freeholder in Claverack in 1720.109

Caspar and Racheltje Van Hoese were witnesses at several baptisms:
    1701 at Albany for Frans, son of Jurrien Fransen and Marrytje Jansse;
    1707 at Albany for Lucas, son of Dirk Hoes and Lysbeth Van Wyngaarde;
    1710 at Albany for Catharina, dau. of Cornelis Slingelant and Eva Mebie.242

Caspar was a witness at several baptisms:
    1706 at Albany for Anna, dau. of Isaac Casparse Halenbeek and Dorothea Ten Bosch;
    1706 at Albany for Class, son of Jesse De Graaf and Aaltje Akkermans;
    1708 at Albany for Marytje, dau. of Arent Van Schaak and Maria Van Loon.242

On 10 Jan 1701 Caspar married Rachel Slingerland, daughter of Slingerland, in Reformed Dutch Church of Albany.242 Caspar Van Hoese, y.m., and Racheltje Slingerlant, y.d., both born and living at Albany, married at house of the bride’s brother-in-law Joannes Mingaal.

7953. Jan Jurrian Van Hoesen. Born ca 1678 in Albany, NY. Jan Jurrian died in Dec 1731. Buried on 21 Dec 1731 in Claverack, Columbia Co., NY.

A “Jurie Jan” was a freeholder in Claverack in 1720.109 Could this be Jan Jurrian, or his father?

Jan Jurrian was a Claverack freeholder in 1763.

On 7 Nov 1702 Jan Jurrian married Jannetje Van Schaaik, daughter of Claas Laurensz Van Schaick (ca 1636-bef 1709) & Jannetje Cornelis (-aft 9 Aug 1710), in Reformed Dutch Church of Albany.242 Jan Van Hoesen, y.m, born at Albany, living at Rensselaerswyck, and Jannetje Van Schaak, y.d., born and living at Kinderhook, upon a certificate of 23 Aug 1703, to be married by a J.P. Born in Kinderhook, NY.
