ca 1665 Sarah second married Miles Merwin (7764) , son of Walter Merwin (ca 1593/4-Feb 1642/3) & Margaret Tinker (2168) (ca 1597/8-aft 1642).⁷⁰ Born ca 1623/4 in Clewer, Berkshire.¹⁰⁶ Miles was baptized in New Windsor, Berkshire, on 1 Feb 1623/4.¹⁰⁶ Miles died on 23 Apr 1697 in Milford, CT.¹⁰⁶

Miles came to New England about 1640, and settled in Windsor by 1648.¹⁰⁶

Sarah was Miles’ second wife.⁶⁸

On 6 Oct 1663 Hannah married Christopher Comstock (1022) , son of William Comstock (389) (ca Jul 1595-ca 1683) & Elizabeth Daniels (8 Jan 1607/8-ca 1665), in Norwalk, CT.² Born on 7 Oct 1635. Christopher died in Norwalk, CT, on 28 Dec 1702; he was 67.¹⁶ Occupation: tavernkeeper.

“Comstock, Christopher. Deputy (Norwalk) to Conn. Leg., Oct. 1686, May and June 1689, May 1690.
“Prob. son of Witliam of New London. He settled in Fairfield; rem. to Norwalk, and was nominated for a freeman oi Conn. Colony, Oct. 1667.
“He m. (rec. Norwalk) 6 Oct. 1663, Hannah Platt, dau. of Richard oi Mil£ord; and d. 28 Dec. 1702.
“In 1654 he testified to visiting the convicted witch, Goodwiie Knapp, in company with Thomas Shervington and Goodwife Baldwin. In 1692 he served on the Grand Jury which indicted Merey Disbrow and others for witchcraft.
“Will 22 Dec. 1701, proved 4 Jan. 1702/3; wife Hannah; sons Moses, Samuel; daus. Hannah Comstock and Merey Comstock; every grandchild to have a Bible; wife, Exec’x, and friends Rev. Stephen Buckingham and James Olmstead, overseers.”
