On 17 Aug 1698 when Record was 21, she married Thomas Newton (25638) , son of John Newton (11115) (20 Oct 1641-16 Oct 1723) & Elizabeth Larkin (5 Oct 1641-15 Oct 1719), in Marlboro, MA.266 Born on 27 or 29 Dec 1674 in Marlboro, MA.371 Thomas died in Westboro, MA, on 2 Nov 1746; he was 71.266

8613. Rebecca Ward. Born on 15 Nov 1678 in Marlboro, MA.266 Rebecca died in Marlboro, MA, on 8 Jul 1698; she was 19.266 Rebecca died unmarried.

8614. Eleazer Ward. Born on 12 Aug 1680 in Marlboro, MA.266 Eleazer died in Marlboro, MA, on 8 Sep 1708; he was 28.266 Eleazer died unmarried.

8615. Thomas Ward. Born in 1684 in Marlboro, MA.24 Thomas died in Aug 1747 in Plainfield, CT.266 Thomas died unmarried.

In 1710, 93 acres of land were laid out to Thomas and hsi brother Oliver on Wealy Hill, near Cold Harbor, in that part of Marlb oro whic became Westboro, then Northboro. His will directed the distribution of his estate among the most needing and deserving of his relatives.266

Oliver and Hannah “lived for some years in what is now the westerly part of Northborough, Mass., near the head of ‘Cold Harbor’ meadow, on the place afterwards occupied by Jotham Bartlett. In Massachusetts Archives, 71:454, is his damage claim for a horse wounded in a fight with Indians near Lancaster in August 1708. About 1716 he moved to the section which became Westborough in the following year. In 1736 he was a selectman in Grafton, Mass.”266

On 2 Feb 1708/9 Oliver married Hannah Brigham (25696) , daughter of John Brigham (9 Mar 1644-16 Sep 1728) & Sarah Davis (11132) (10 Apr 1646-), in Sudbury, MA.66 Born on 27 Mar 1683 in Marlboro, MA.443

    iv-vi. triplets Deborah, Hannah, and Sarah, b. 14 Jan 1715, all died in infancy.266
