On 8 Mar 1716/7 when Abigail was 16, she married Isaac Cummings (11880) , son of Isaac Cummings (3816) (15 Sep 1664-7 Aug 1746) & Alice Howlett (17399) (ca 1666-bef Dec 1696), in Topsfield, MA.47 Born ca Apr 1692 in Topsfield, MA. Isaac was baptized on 24 Apr 1692.47 Isaac died on 12 Oct 1761 in Ipswich, Essex.47

    Isaac “bought, June 8, I724, of Stephen and Lydia Smith, his sister, all their title to their mother’s estate bequeathed to her by her grandfather, Thomas Howlet, May 26, I725, and the title of Thomas and Alice Bixby, his second sister, to the same estate. His wife, Abigail, with her two sisters, Hannah, who was the wife of Jacob Perkins, and Prudence inherited their father’s homestead, Iying partly in Topsfield and partly in Ipswich, which they sold to Elisha Cummings in Dec. I742. February 19 and 20, 1752, Isaac and Abigail united in deeding their homesteacl and lands to their sons, Joseph and Peletiah, said in the deed to be bounded on Samuel Lamson, west by the farm given to Isaac by his father, north on Capt. Joseph Cummings, east on corner bounds between Isaac’s land and said Joseph Cummings.”

On 4 Dec 1721 when Hannah was 18, she first married Jacob Perkins, son of Elisha Perkins (ca 1656-18 Feb 1741) & Katherine Towne (25 Feb 1661/2-ca 1714), in Topsfield, MA. Born on 13 Nov 1692 in Topsfield, MA. Jacob died in Topsfield, MA, on 18 Nov 1758; he was 66.
