On 2 Feb 1709/10 when Mary was 25, she married Joseph Briggs (10128) , son of Ens. Cornelius Briggs (2995) (1647-20 Oct 1694) & Mary Doughty (7882) (23 Jun 1650-1680/83), in Scituate, MA.85 Born on 29 Apr 1679 in Scituate, MA.116 At the age of <1, Joseph was baptized in the Second Church of Scituate, on 20 Apr 1679.193 Joseph died in Scituate, MA, on 26 Jan 1747/8; he was 68. Occupation: shipwright, yoeman, farmer.
Joseph was known as Joseph Briggs, Jr., to distinguish him from his cousin Joseph, son of Lt. James. Joseph Jr. lived in the Walter Briggs homestead at Conihassett, which he purchased from his cousin, John Briggs, Jr., when the latter removed to Boston.7

On 7 May 1713 when Elizabeth was 26, she married James Briggs (8808) , son of Ens. Cornelius Briggs (2995) (1647-20 Oct 1694) & Mehitable Allyn (2450) (ca 1648-), in First Parish Church, Scituate.116 Born on 2 Mar 1683/4 in Scituate, MA.116 James died in 1754.7 Occupation: cordwainer.
James was born in the Russell house at ‘the green bush.’ Before 1716 he resided on the main road in the South Parish, northwest of Wilson Hill. In 1725 James purchased from his neighbor Dea. George King lands in Ashford, CT, that had one been in the possession of James’ father and his uncle Capt. John Briggs.7

On 7 Feb 1738/9 when Jael was 46, she married Isaac Lincoln (25734) , son of Mordecai Lincoln (13722) (14 Jun 1657-12 Nov 1727) & Sarah Jones (ca 1660-), in Scituate, MA. Born on 24 Oct 1691 in Hingham, MA. Isaac died in Cohasset, MA, on 15 Jan 1771; he was 79.
