ca 1686 John married Mary Wilcox (11552) , daughter of Daniel Wilcox (ca 1632-2 Jul 1707) & Elizabeth Cooke (3679) (bef 1644-6 Dec 1715).158 Born in prob. Portsmouth, RI.158 Mary died in 1735 in Tiverton, MA (now RI).158

12866. Ralph Earle. Born ca 1664 in Portsmouth, RI. Ralph died on 14 Apr 1718 in Dartmouth, MA.322 Buried in Dartmouth, MA GR23.

ca 1691 Ralph married Dorcas Dillingham, daughter of Henry Dillingham (13 Oct 1625-) & Hannah Perry (ca 1625-9 Aug 1673). Born on 31 Mar 1662 in Sandwich, MA. Dorcas died in Dartmouth, MA, on 23 Jan 1742; she was 79.322

12867. William Earle. Born ca 1672 in Portsmouth, RI. William died in 1715.

William was of Dartmouth when he sold 112 acres to Peleg Slocum in Aug 1693 for £65. He sold more land in 1696 to Robert Havens. He was constable in 1695 and 1696. He moved to Pomfret, CT, and several of his children went to the Beekman Patent.231

On 26 Dec 1695 William married Hepzibah Butts (6000) , daughter of Thomas Butts (ca 1641-ca Dec 1702) & Elizabeth Lake (1633) (ca 1642-aft 1709), in Little Compton, MA (now RI).287,224 They were married by Joseph Church, Justice. Born on 30 Jul 1673 in Little Compton, MA (now RI).57 Hepzibah died in Pomfret, CT, on 19 Dec 1722; she was 49.

Joseph married Elizabeth Slocum, daughter of Giles Slocum (25 Mar 1647-1 Jan 1712/3) & Anne Lawton (ca 1645-ca 1703). Born on 8th 2m [Apr] 1671 in Portsmouth, RI.269 Elizabeth died on 26 Dec 1752; she was 81.

12869. Dorcas Earle. Born ca 1670 in Portsmouth, NH. Dorcas died bef 1754.

ca 1700/1 Dorcas married John Clap (23338) , son of Increase Clap (11072) (May 1640-13 Sep 1716) & Elizabeth Bursley (ca 1649-26 Jun 1707). Born in Oct 1676 in Barnstable, MA.8 John died bef 1754.

John married and removed to Rochester, Mass.; he was there in 1710, and bought land of Samuel Prince, probably having removed there with his family about that time, with his fatehre. He bought the next lot to his father, No. 10.

    vii. Mary, b. 1716.279
