On 31 May 1709 when Jabez was 30, he first married Hepzibah Perley (6829) , daughter of Samuel Perley (1887) (ca 1640-aft 1707) & Ruth Trumble (2190) (23 Feb 1645-), in Ipswich, MA. Born on 28 Sep 1679 in Ipswich, MA.2 Hepzibah died in Boxford, MA, on 4 Feb 1714/5; she was 35.

On 16 Aug 1716 when Jabez was 37, he second married Abiel Fisher in Boxford, MA.
Jabez married and “Abiel Fesher” on 16 Aug 1716 in Boxford. That could be a misreading for “Abiel Sessions,” daughter of Alexander & Elizabeth (Spofford) Sessions, born about 1688 at Andover.
