On 16 Apr 1726 when David was 26, he married Abigail Wing, daughter of Matthew Wing (1 Mar 1673/4-ca 1724) & Elizabeth Mott (6 Aug 1659-aft 1723), in Tiverton, MA (now RI).287 David Durfee of Tiverton and Ambigail Will of Dartmouth were married 16 Apr 1726. Born on 1 Feb 1701/2 in Dartmouth, MA. Abigail died in Tiverton, RI, on 4 Jul 1792; she was 90.

14774. Samuel Durfee. Born on 1 Mar 1702 in Tiverton, MA (now RI). Samuel died in Tiverton, RI, on 8 Nov 1788; he was 86.

The vital records of Tiverton287 list three different intentions of marriage on three different pages:
    (1). 10 Feb 1732/3, Samuel Durfee of Tiverton and Mercy Dree of Freetown,
    (2). 10 Feb 1732/3, Samuel Durfee of Tiverton and Mercy Devol of Freetown, and
    (3). 10 Feb 1733, Samuel Durfee of Tiverton and Mercy Gifford of Freetown.

On 17 Feb 1732/3 when Samuel was 30, he married Mary Durfee (14784) , daughter of Benjamin Durfee (5311) (ca 1678/9-6 Jan 1754) & Prudence Earle (12886) (ca 1681-12 Mar 1732/3), in Tiverton, MA (now RI). Born on 30 Jan 1710/1 in Tiverton, MA (now RI).

Mary, also called Mercy, Durfee. Samuel and Mary were first cousins; their fathers were brothers.
