On 1 May 1764 when Samuel was 64, he married Ruth Ford (33519) , daughter of Hezekiah Ford (25107) (28 Apr 1687-aft 3 Nov 1721) & Ruth Whitmarsh (18 Mar 1690/1-15 Feb 1717/8), in Bridgewater, MA. Born on 3 May 1716. Ruth died on 9 Jan 1791; she was 74.
