17667. Lieut. Samuel Phelps. Born on 5 Apr 1710 in Windsor, CT.93 Samuel died in Harwinton, CT, on 14 Aug 1754; he was 44.

Samuel and Ruth removed to Harwinton, CT, about 1732.

In 1732 Samuel first married Ruth Phelps (17659) , daughter of William Phelps (6874) (4 Feb 1668-1733) & Ruth Barber (24 Jul 1683-2 Aug 1747).93 Born on 23 Jan 1713 in Windsor, CT.93 Ruth died in Harwinton, CT, on 21 Dec 1749; she was 36.

Samuel and Ruth were first cousins; their fathers were brothers.

17673. Dr. Hezekiah Phelps. Born ca 1725 in Windsor, CT. Hezekiah died on 9 Jun 1752 in Windsor, CT.93 Education: Yale.

Hezekiah’s will, dated 7 Jul 1752, mentions his wife Lydia and daughter Lydia only.229

Hezekiah married Lydia Griswold (33833) , daughter of Samuel Griswold (25870) (7 Aug 1685-16 May 1777) & Elizabeth Gaylord (28 Jul 1693-4 Jan 1764). Born on 17 Dec 1722 in Windsor, CT.93 Lydia died on 1 Oct 1801; she was 78.93
