Peter Lassing was on the taxpayer list of Fishkill and Rombout in 1765-1766.357
In “the Monday after Trinity” 1735 Pieter Pieterse married Anna Maria Emigh, daughter of Johan Nicholas Emigh (ca 1689-aft 1761) & Anna Catherina Muller, in New York Lutheran Church. Born on 22 Apr 1715 in Fishkill, Ulster Co., NY.344,355 At the age of <1, Anna Maria was baptized in West Camp (Later St. Paul’s) Lutheran Church, on 26 Apr 1715.344 Anna Maria, daughter of Niclaus Ohmich & Anna Catharina, witnesses Gerg Thater & wivfe Anna Maria. Anna Maria died aft 4 Oct 1780.355
Anna Maria Emig celebrated her first Communion, recorded at the New York Lutheran Church, on 8 Oct 1731 “among the Germans at ‘Poekmans land’ [Beekman’s land,” where her age was given incorrectly as twenty.355

18153. William Lassen. Born in 1707.96 William was baptized in Dutchess Co., NY, on 23 May 1707.96 Baptized in the house of Peter Lassen, beyond the Highand. Sponsors: Pieter Lassen, Sr., and wife Chatarina [grandparents].
William was possibly one of two William Lasengs who signed the 1749 petition about the troubles at the Poughquag church.355
18154. Johannes Lassen. Born in 1708/9.355 Johannes was born “this winter” before baptism. Johannes was baptized in Dutchess Co., NY, on 14 Mar 1709.355 Baptized “in Lassen’s house beyond the Highlands b. this winter” and recorded at the New York Lutheran Church. Witnesses: Casper Jansen Halenbeeck and Antje Lassen [prob. aunt]. Johannes died in Aug 1732.355
Johannes was recorded as deceased from small pox at the baptism of his son, Johannes.
On 2/3 oct 1731 Johannes married Catharina Jansen, daughter of Pieter Jansen (-ca Feb 1715) & Maria Lassen (ca 1687-), in Dutchess Co., NY. Johannes and Catharina were married at Pieter Lassing’s in the Highland, or at the house of Yzaak Lassing as both are recorded at the New York Lutheran Church. Born on 11 Mar 1710.355 Catharina was born “on the same lands” beyond the Highlands(?). At the age of <1, Catharina was baptized on 18 Apr 1710.355 Baptized “at our meeting at the house of Pieter Lassen [grandfather], beyond the Highlands,” witnesses “I, Justus Falkner, the pastor,” and Cornelia Lassen [Cornelia Rees Lassen? aunt].
Johannes and Catharina were first cousins, his father being the brother of her mother.
According to the New York Lutheran Church records, “Catharina, wife or widow of hannes Lassing,” celebrated her first Communion on 18 Jun 1732 at Piet: Lassing’s.355

18155. Andreas Lassen. Born on 20 Aug 1710 in Dutchess Co., NY.96 At the age of <1, Andreas was baptized in Dutchess Co., NY, on 25 Aug 1710.96 Sponsors: Hannes Lassen and wife Margareta. In the house of Pieter Lassen’s beyond the Highlands.
18156. Andreas Lassen. Born on 16 Apr 1712 in Dutchess Co., NY.344 At the age of <1, Andreas was baptized in West Camp (Later St. Paul’s) Lutheran Church, on 11 Jun 1712.344 Andreas, son of Peter Losting & Cornelia, witnesses Wilhelm Roos [Rees] and wife Catherina [grandparents].
Andreas and Catharina were first cousins as their fathers were brothers.
ca 1737 Andreas married Catharina Lassen (18186) , daughter of Johannes Lassen (ca 1684-bef 7 May 1715) & Margareta Jansen Van Norden (7117) (ca 1686-1742).355 Born on 20 Mar 1714.355 At the age of <1, Catharina was baptized in Hackensack, NJ, on 6 Jun 1714.355 Catharina was baptized “at our meeting at Hackinsack in the house of Cornelis Christiaanse Van Hoorn,” witnesses Willem Van Orde & Abigail Jansen, recorded at the New York Lutheran Church.
Catharina celebrated her first Communion 5 Feb 1732/3 at Hackingsack, as recorded at the New York Lutheran Church.355
18157. Dirck Lassen. Born on 1 Oct 1714 in Dutchess Co., NY.96 At the age of <1, Dirck was baptized in Dutchess Co., NY, on 1 Nov 1714.96 Sponsors: James Hussi and Grittge Schutt. At Cathrina Lassen’s house in the Long Rack.
18158. Catharina Lassen. Born on 10 Oct 1716 in Dutchess Co., NY.96 At the age of <1, Catharina was baptized in Dutchess Co., NY, on 8 May 1717.96 Sponsors: Isaac and Catharina Lassen. At Pieter Lassen’s in the Highland. Catharina died in Dutchess Co., NY, on 26 Jun 1732; she was 15.96
Catharina’s record of first Communion at Pieter Lassen’s on 18 Jun 1732 referred to her as “Catherina, oldest daughter of Pieter Lassing; 8 days later, dead.”96

Born on 22 Dec 1718 in Dutchess Co., NY.96 At the age of <1, Cornelia was baptized in Loonenburg, Columbia Co., NY, on 7 Feb 1719.96 Baptized “in my [Justus Falckner’s] lodgings at Lonenburg, born Dec 22 on the Lange Rack in the Highlands, Cornelia, child of Pieter Lassen and wife Cornelia.” Sponsors: Leonhard Rees [uncle] and wife Volckge. Recorded at the New York Lutheran Church.
18160. Gertrud Lassen. Born in 1721 in Long Rack In The Highland.355 Gertrud was baptized in New York, NY, on 14 May 1721.355 Sponsors: Hannes La Grancie and Gertrud Vlierboom. Gertrud died bef 24 Mar 1796.355
Gertrud celebrated hisr first Communion on the Dnia II post Trinity 1737 at Pieter Lassing’s.355
On 16 Sep 1737 (int) Gertrud married Philip Emigh, son of Johan Nicholas Emigh (ca 1689-aft 1761) & Anna Catherina Muller, in Pieter Lassing’s In The Highland (Dutchess County).355 Born ca 1711 in Prob. East Camp.355 Philip died bet 24 mar 1796 and 1 Mar 1799 in Dutchess Co., NY.355
Philip Emig, 20, made his first Communion on 3 Oct 1731 “among the Germans at ‘Poekmans land’ [Beekman’s land].355
18161. Margaretha Lassen. Born ca 1725.96
Margaretha Lassen is known only from a New York Lutheran record which showed that “Margaretha, daughter of Pieter Lassing,” celebrated her first Communion (Lutheran) Dnia XVI p.T. 1740 at Pieter Lassing’s.96
