Stephen and Bridget were second cousins. His grandfather, Samuel Richardson, and her grandfather, Ezekiel Richardson, were brothers.

Stephen Richardson (4840) , son of Joseph Richardson (7175) (27 Jul 1643-5 Mar 1718) & Hannah Green (1320) (7 Feb 1646/7-20 May 1721), in Woburn, MA.35 Born on 7 Feb 1674 in Woburn, MA.35 Stephen died in Woburn, MA, on 4 Feb 1752; he was 77.35 Buried in First Burial Ground of Woburn.149 “Here lyes buried ye body of Deacon Stephen Richardson, who departed this life, February ye 4th, 1752, in ye 79th year of his age”.

Stephen was a captain the militia, selectman of Woburn 1721, deacon of the church in Woburn 1745, but was commonly known as “captain.”145
