“In 1748, when the church society employed John Curtis to preach, Caleb Tuttle and wife and David Punderson and wife, Thankful, conveyed a half acre and 17 rods, fronting 100 feet on Elm st., for a parsonage lot. Caleb and his wife Hannah had become owners of two-thirds of it by deed from her sons Joseph and John Todd in 1726. This was the Blue Meeting house parsonage lot, and is now the site of St. Thomas Epis. church.”
