At the age of <1, Jan was baptized in Sleepy Hollow Reformed Church, on 28 Oct 1718.181 Jan Canckly, son of Elyas and Crestena Canckly, witnesses: Jan Ecker & wife Magdaleentje [grandparents]. Jan died in 1796 in Livingston, Columbia Co., NY.232
Jan and Weyntie both born and lived in Philips Burgh.181
“John Concklin” was on the 1760 Philipsburg Manor rent roll.310 They resided at Philipsburgh until the 1770s when the whole family moved to Livingston, Columbia Co.232
On 17 Apr 1742 when Jan was 23, he married Wyntie Van Tassel (16026) , daughter of Cornelis Van Tassel (5988) (7 Jan 1668-) & Wyntje Herrickse Cranckheyt (18093) (ca Mar 1684-), in Sleepy Hollow Reformed Church.181 “Jan Canckelie, j.m., and Weyntie Van Thexel, j.d. Both b. and l. in Philips Burgh”. Born on 12 Jun 1717 in Philipsburgh, Westchester Co., NY.340 At the age of <1, Wyntie was baptized in Sleepy Hollow Reformed Church, on 18 Jul 1717.181 Wyntie, daughter of Cornelis & Wyntie, witnesses Joannis Van Texel [Cornelis’s brother] & wife Caharina.

19994. Nickolas Conklin. Born in 1721 in Philipsburgh, Westchester Co., NY. Nickolas was baptized in Sleepy Hollow Reformed Church, on 18 Apr 1721.181 Nicklaes, don of Elyas & Crestena Cancklie, witnesses Delefferns Canckle & wife Engeeltie.
19995. Lea Conklin. Born in 1723 in Philipsburgh, Westchester Co., NY. Lea was baptized in Sleepy Hollow Reformed Church, on 23 Apr 1723.181 Lea and Rahel, children of Elyas Canclie & Crestena his wife, witnesses Herrick Lent &Cornelia his wife, Gerrit Van Weert & Catharina his wife.
Wellem Lent and Leya Kanckelei were witnesses at the 1743 baptism (before Wellem and Leya were married) of Sara, daughter of Harmanes Gardener & Antye Van Tessel.
On 15 Sep 1744 Lea married William Lent (27717) , son of Jan Lent (16012) (1686-) & Marytie De Ronde (30627) (say 1696-), in Sleepy Hollow Reformed Church.181 “Willim Lendt j.m., b. on the Mennaer of Cortlandt, and l. there, and Lea Canckelie, j.d., b. on the Mannaer of Cortlandt, and l. in Philips Burgh”. Born ca Apr 1717 in Cortland, Westchester Co., NY. William was baptized in Sleepy Hollow Reformed Church, on 23 Apr 1717.181 Witnesses: Willem de Ronde & Marietie Brouwer.

Rachel married William Depew.
