On 12 Jun 1710 Hope married David Torrey (34072) , son of Dea. James Torrey (26296) (3 Sep 1644-1719) & Elizabeth Rawlins (Jun 1661-7 Apr 1700), in the Second Church of Scituate.116 Born on 4 Jan 1687/8 in Scituate, MA.116 David died in Hanover, MA, on 2 Jan 1770; he was 81.

On 12 Jan 1712/3 John first married Naomi Bates (21494) , daughter of Joseph Bates (ca 1653-9 Jul 1740) & Anna Sylvester (9284) (5 May 1669-15 Aug 1742), in Scituate, MA. Born ca 1692 in Scituate, MA. Naomi died bef Jul 1737.
