Benjamin died without issue (contrary to the Todd Genealogy). He died in military service. He served in the French and Indian War, Campaign of 1755, in the 7th Co. (Capt. James Peck), 2nd Regt., and was reported dead 6 Nov1755.30,139

On 9 Dec 1756 when Lois was 18, she second married James Atwater in New Haven, CT.74 Born on 1 Sep 1734 in New Haven, CT.

21686. Reuben Tuttle. Born on 3 Mar 1739/40 in New Haven, CT.74 Reuben died in North Haven, CT, on 1 Apr 1802; he was 62.30

On 20 Jan 1766 when Reuben was 25, he first married Rebecca Tyler in New Haven, CT.74 Rebecca died on 14 Sep 1783 in North Haven, CT.30

On 10 Mar 1790 when Reuben was 50, he second married Thankful Thorpe, daughter of Samuel Thorpe (6 Sep 1702-26 Jul 1767) & Ann Payne (6 Jan 1700-), in Congregational Society, North Haven.30 Born on 12 Jun 1733 in New Haven, CT.74 Thankful died in North Haven, CT, on 26 Jun 1802; she was 69.30

21687. Susanna Tuttle. Born on 17 Jun 1744 in New Haven, CT.74 Susanna died in North Haven, CT, on 30 May 1820; she was 75.30 Buried in Old Graveyard, North Haven.

Ezra and Susanna Tuttle were first cousins, as their fathers were brothers.

Ezra Tuttle (9458) , son of Nathaniel Tuttle (2716) (25 Feb 1675-1728) & Esther Doolittle (12711) (24 Jan 1683-1756), in Congregational Society, North Haven.30 Born ca 1720.30 Ezra died on 11 Jun 1793 in North Haven, CT.30 Buried in Old Graveyard, North Haven.

Ezra was commissioned Ensign of the 12th Co., 3rd Regt., Oct 1759; Lieut. of the 12th Co., 2nd Regt., Oct 1769; and Capt. of the same May, 1770.139

On 20 Mar 1799 when Susanna was 54, she second married Oliver Blakeslee in Congregational Society, North Haven.30 Born on 15 Aug 1741 in New Haven, CT.74 Oliver died in 1824.30

Oliver, son of Matthew and Rhoda (Beach) Blakeslee, m. 1st Elizabeth Humiston.
