On 5 Jul 1750 when Abigail was 23, she first married Joseph Hitchcock (12960) , son of Ebenezer Hitchcock (5375) (9 Apr 1689-ca 1727) & Anna Perkins (4238) (5 Nov 1690-Nov 1757), in New Haven, CT.74 Born bef 1717.200 Joseph was baptized in First Congregational Society, New Haven, on 3 Apr 1726.30 Joseph died on 19 Jul 1773 in New Haven, CT.74
Joseph “was born earlier than 1717 for he is called Jospeh, Sr., on the New Haven records. Those records also seem to show that Joseph lived at one time in Bethany; ‘April 24, 1771, Jospeh Hitchcock of New Haven society of Bethany to Ebenezer Hitchcock of New Haven society of Mt. Carmel piece of land which was laid out to Ebenezer of New Haven.’ ... His widow Abigail administered on his estate in Oct., 1774.”200

James Peck (21782) , son of James Peck (21203) (17 Feb 1679-1760) & Abigail Morris (9552) (22 Aug 1683-bef 1729), in Congregational Society, Woodbridge.30 Born on 4 Aug 1708 in New Haven, CT.74 James died in New Haven, CT, on 2 Mar 1794; he was 85.30 Buried in City Burial Ground, New Haven.
