On 13 Apr 1732 when Elizabeth was 24, she married William Woodell, son of Gershom Woodell (4 May 1668-) & Sarah Mott (3 Feb 1669/70-), in Tiverton, MA (now RI).287 William Woodle and Elizabeth Borden were married by Job Almy, Justice, 13 Apr 1732. Born on 13 Jun 1702 in Tiverton, MA (now RI).287 287

21941. Joseph Borden. Born on 18 Nov 1718. Occupation: Ships Carpenter.210 Religion: Quaker.

Joseph probably removed to Carolina with his uncle William Borden.210

On 15 Oct 1741 when Joseph was 22, he married Hannah Stafford (16114) , daughter of Josiah Stafford (37283) (ca 1662-9 Apr 1743) & Sarah Lake (6008) (10 May 1678-10 May 1754). Born ca 1713 in Tiverton, MA (now RI). Hannah died on 1 Dec 1785 in Middletown.

Children of Joseph and Hannah (Stafford) Borden:
    i. Mary Borden, b. at Core Sound, North Carolina, m. 15 Dec 1771 Samuel Little of Little Compton, RI;
    ii. Theophilus Borden, b. at Core Sound, m. Anna Springer; and
    iii. Josiah Borden, b. at Core Sound, m. Susanna (widow Salsbury, mother of Capt. Samuel & Wanton Salisbury of Tiverton, RI).210
