On 23 Aug 1722 when Samuel was 18, he married Mary Doty (11211) , daughter of Joseph Doty (3494) (30 Apr 1651-ca 1732) & Deborah Ellis (13540) (ca 1652-21 Jun 1711), in Plympton, MA.^211,277 “Samuell waterman was Maried to Mary Doten of Rochester aug^st y^e 23^d 1722 by Me Isaac Cushman Senr”. Born on 28 Jul 1699 in Rochester, MA.²⁷⁷ Mary died aft 11 Oct 1761 in near Amenia, NY.²⁶²
