Edward was baptized in Marshfield, MA, on 28 Oct 1716.262 Edward died on 21 May 1791 in Marshfield, MA.262 Buried on 28 May 1791 in Marshfield Hills Cemetery.170 Was on the census for Marshfield, MA, in 1790. 1-0-3. Occupation: yeoman.

On 26 Jul 1791 widow Sarah Oakman and Edward Oakman, gentleman, were appointed to administer the estate of Edward Oakman of Marshfield, yeoman. In the 22 Oct 1794 settlement, Amos Oakman was to get the estate and make payments to: John Oakman; Samuel Oakman; Elizabeth Oakman; Alice Oakman; Bethia Stevens, the wife of William Stevens; Sarah, the wife of Samuel Lathrop; and Abiah, the wife of Asa Rogers.
