On 26 Oct 1706 when Sarah was 22, she married William Rawson (31053) , son of William Rawson (20562) (21 Mar 1650/1-20 Sep 1726) & Anne Glover (1656-29 Jul 1730), in Billerica, MA. Born on 2 Dec 1682 in Braintree, MA.196 William died in Oct 1769 in Mendon, MA.196 Education: Harvard 1703.
William was chosen Selectman of Mendon on 11 Mar 1729. He was also chosen by the Selectmen to keep school for three months, beginning on 8 Dec 1729 to be paid at the rate of £45 per year. On 1 Mar 1731 he was chosen Town Clerk, an affice he held for several eyars. on 29 Nov 1731, he was chosen to keep a Grammar School for three months, probably the first in Mendon. Again in Apr 1737 he was engaged to keep a Grammar School for ten months.196
