On 12 Oct 1758 when Phebe was 23, she first married Roger Dearing Phipps, son of Danforth Phipps (4 Feb 1709/10-aft 1795) & Elizabeth Skillings (24 Dec 1713-15 Feb 1786), in New Haven, CT.74 Born on 2 Jul 1735 in New Haven, CT. Roger Dearing died in New Haven, CT, on 11 Sep 1770; he was 35.

On 22 Jan 1775 when Phebe was 39, she second married Asa Todd (22387) , son of Gershom Todd (10300) (12 Oct 1695-Nov 1748) & Elizabeth Merriman (16627) (2 Jul 1703-bet 1732 and 1735), in Second Congregational Society, New Haven.30 Born on 24 Mar 1723/4 in New Haven, CT.74 Asa died in New Haven, CT, on 5 Jul 1779; he was 55.30 Ada was killed by the British.

Asa was killed by the British during Tryon’s Invasion of New Haven, being pierced with a bayonet, once through the head and twice through the body.139
