Isaac Snow was treasurer of Woburn from 1740 to 1744, a selectman, 1756 and 1758; provided for the "French People" in Woburn, in 1756 and 1761; was a subscriber to the covenant of Woburn Church in 1756; did service on important committees, and is styled "Gentleman" in legal documents.149
On 8 Jul 1732 when Isaac was 23, he first married Esther Converse (23128) , daughter of Robert Converse (10877) (29 Dec 1677-20 Jul 1736) & Mary Sawyer, in Woburn, MA.34 Born on 1 Oct 1704 in Woburn, MA.35 Esther died in Woburn, MA, on 30 May 1737; she was 32.145 Buried in First Burial Ground of Woburn.149 “Here lyes ye body of Mrs. Esther Snow, wife to Mr. Isaac Snow, who died March 30th, Anno. On 9 Sep 1750 when Mary was 33, she married John Kidder, son of Stephen Kidder (26 Nov 1662-5 Jul 1748) & Mary Johnson (21 Oct 1672-17 Sep 1722), in Charlestown, MA. Born on 13 Feb 1708/9 in Charlestown, MA. John died on 5 Oct 1764; he was 55.
