23948. Philip Taber. Born on 4 Oct 1702 in Dartmouth, MA. Philip died in Tiverton, RI, on 8 Mar 1763; he was 60.

On 12 Nov 1721 when Philip was 19, he first married Ruth Shaw (19254) , daughter of Israel Shaw (29 Jan 1659/60-) & Mercy Tallman (7668) (ca 1670-), in Tiverton, MA (now RI).²⁸⁷ Philip Taber of Dartmouth and Ruth Shaw were married by Job Almy, Justice, 12 Nov 1721. Born on 10 Feb 1701[/2] in Little Compton, MA (now RI).²²⁴ Ruth died bef Oct 1724.

On 1 Oct 1724 when Philip was 21, he second married Phebe Brownell (35162) , daughter of George Brownell (28955) (19 Jan 1685-22 Sep 1756) & Mary Thurston (20 Mar 1685-23 Feb 1740), in Tiverton, MA (now RI).^287,224 They were married by Rev. William Billings. Born on 19 Jun 1708 in Little Compton, MA (now RI).²²⁴ Phebe died between 20 Oct 1772 and 1 Feb 1773.

23949. Mary Taber. Born on 25 Feb 1709 in Dartmouth, MA.³²³ Mary died aft 16 May 1755.

Mary first married John Arthur.

On 3 Apr 1735 when Mary was 26, she second married Abial Hathaway (15358) , son of John Hathaway (11545) (17 Sep 1653-1739) & Patience Hunnewell (5553) (ca 1674/5-aft 11 Jul 1732), in Dartmouth, MA.³²² Born on 21 Oct 1705 in Dartmouth, MA.³²² Abial died aft 21 Feb 1757.
