Thomas removed to Plympton, bought a farm by the lowermost millseat on the Winnatuxed River. He was a part owner of a grist mill.¹³¹

On 1 Oct 1750 when Thomas was 25, he married Zilpha Bradford (31983) , daughter of Capt. Robert Bradford (22082) (18 Oct 1706-12 Aug 1782) & Sarah Stetson (23596) (26 Aug 1708-23 Feb 1792), in Kingston, MA.¹³⁴ Born on 6 Apr 1728 in Kingston, MA.¹³⁴ Zilpha died in Plympton, MA, on 16 Feb 1776; she was 47.²⁵⁹
