Johnson was in Wallingford, CT, in 1803. He “inherited considerable gram his grandfather Daniel Doolitle with howm he was a great favorite. His genial ways made him very popular with a wide circle of firends. He hela a reputation of ‘a grand old man.’ ... One of the daughters m. Mr. Morse.”372
